CIA graduate-run and female-owned, ‍ ‍Scottie’s‍ ‍is a Small Freelance, private home-cooking business

  • Born and raised on the Jersey Shore, Lily has had a long-standing relationship with Italian-American cuisine. Whether it was learning how to boil pasta when she was a toddler or going to her local pizzeria after swim practice with her grandmother, Lily developed a deep appreciation and affinity for all things food-related

  • After graduating from Bates College in May of 2021 and working in digital media marketing and advertising for several years, Lily decided to combine her expertise in performance media strategy for retailers and CPG brands with her passion for the culinary arts. While working full-time, she obtained a Master's degree in Professional Studies for Food Business from the Culinary Institute of America in August of 2025

  • Lily's inspiration for Scottie’s stemmed from the idea of bringing people joy with the same thing that has brought her great happiness over the years: sharing hot, home-cooked meals while listening to other people’s stories

  • At Scottie’s, we curate and cook at-home, private dinners for parties 2-6 and create delicious hors d'oeuvre trays for special events!

  • Courses for private dinners include: starters & sides, mains, and desserts (see menu for inspiration, but we want to make the menu with you so you’re involved from beginning to end)

    • Hors d'oeuvre offerings can also stem from the private dinner menu but we are open to collaboration!

  • We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for those who do not align with our values and/or act outside of our guidelines & expectations! Scottie’s is an equal-opportunity service provider committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. There is a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, or hate speech

Our Value Statement

We believe the dinner table is a shared space for kindness, storytelling, mutual respect, and—above all—damn good food. We cook for those who cherish the craft of home cooking and the people and resources that make it all possible
